Abstract
As a hospital pharmacy resident in 1979–80, I never missed an opportunity to round in pediatrics. Even though "clinical" was just a few weeks of my yearlong experience at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, I followed one of the pediatric teams all year, changing service when they did and showing up for rounds at 7:00am on any morning when I could take the beeper and slip away from my assigned area.
