Abstract

Red lists and catalogues of endangered plant species from the recent decades consider Daisy-leaf Moonwort ( Botrychium matricariifolium ) an endangered or extinct species from Hungary. In June 2008 a new locality with 1 specimen has been found in the Mecsek Mts (South Hungary). In this paper the circumstances of the occurrence are discussed with a short review on the species rediscovered in Hungary and new to Mecsek Mts.
