Abstract
Electron domains were discovered in body-centred-cubic (bcc) ferritic Fe–Cr alloys in the 1990s for the first time. In this paper, it is reported that electron domains may also exist in the face-centred-cubic (fcc) austenite phase, and they can cross the boundary between the bcc ferrite and the fcc austenite.
