Abstract

Mixed oxides on the basis of bismuth niobate and lithium molybdate are perspective materials for application in fuel cells, gas separation membranes, cryogenic scintillating bolometers, etc. In the research, compounds Bi3R0.8Nb0.2O6.2 (R = Dy, Er) were synthesized and single crystals Li2MoO4, Li2W1−xMoxO4 were grown. The thermodynamic properties (the standard formation enthalpies, heat capacities, lattice enthalpies) were measured by solution and differential scanning calorimetry. As results, it was shown that there is linear dependence of lattice enthalpies for Li2W1−xMoxO4 from tolerance factor, there is no phase transition for Li2W0.9Mo0.1O4 up to 900 K. There is phase transition for Bi3Dy0.8Nb0.2O6.2 above 560 K.
