Abstract
The NllPTmash Research Institute has developed instruments types PR-I and PR-2 for checking the positioning of keyways in components like shafts and collars, in which the axial plane of symmetry of the components can be determined. This enables the distance Ai from the plane of symmetry to the wall of the slot and the deviation Ap~, of the slot from.~the parallel over a given length to be measured simultaneously, thus increasing the speed and accuracy of the measurement s.
