Abstract

In the pre-drill prediction drillability, the current rock drillability evaluation method by drilling coring and laboratory test, combining with logging data to establish the relationship between the acoustic time and drillability. At last, to get drillability profile. Drillability predicted value often has a large error because of downhole lithology having complex, uneven thickness of the layers, it is difficult to meet the construction requirements, so the application is ineffective. New prediction methods about a three-dimensional drillability are introduced by this article, taking into account the different layers of different lithology ,discussing different layers, combining with fractal interpolation method to significantly improve the prediction accuracy before drilling, having provided favorable conditions for drilling speed and reducing the cost of drilling.
