Abstract

Workplace bullying typically hurts those with the least amount of power. Few employees are more powerless than assistant professors on the tenure track. This research examines how mentorship can help diminish the impact of workplace bullying. Using a multiple regression study, this research confirms the mentor's expertise is an important factor for assistant professor in diminishing the effects of workplace bullying.
