Abstract

This article reports the case of a 63-year-old man with nonischemic idiopathic cardiomyopathy and baseline left bundle branch block (LBBB) who was fitted with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD). The patient was managed for fatigue and episodes of palpitations 4 months after placement of the ICD. This case illustrates the physiology described previously in a patient with an LBBB who is detected to have a near normal QRS complex rhythm.
