Abstract

The “Journal Citation Reports” for 2021 have been released, and I am pleased to inform you that the impact factor of IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine</i> ( VTM</i> ) has increased to 13.609 (from 10.384 in 2020). This is an amazing achievement that ranks VTM</i> in second place in telecommunications (out of 94 journals), second place in transportation science and technology (out of 40 journals), and seventh place in electrical and electronic engineering (out of 276 journals). This is in addition to the earlier publication of CiteScore, by Elsevier, which ranks VTM</i> in first place in automotive engineering (CiteScore ranks VTM</i> only in this category). I would like to sincerely thank my editorial team for its hard work and dedication to ensure the highest standards possible. My sincere gratitude also goes to our reviewers, who commit their precious time to carefully evaluate the increasing number of submissions to VTM</i> . And, of course, thank you very much to all the authors who trust VTM</i> to publish their latest achievements. We will continue our efforts to provide you, our members and readers, with the most valuable content possible.
