F. ; Bechis, K. P. ; Barrett, A. H. Abstract We searched for 1.35-cm water-vapor emission from all 138 infrared stars in the Caltech 2- survey with a recorded K-magnitude less than zero, and found four new sources. In addition, we searched for microwave H2O emission in 50 other objects, including all known OH emission sources associated with infrared stars observable from our latitude, several other types of OH emission sources, various galactic objects, and a number of Mira variable stars. Four other new H2O sources were detected. All eight new H2O sources are spectral-class M stars, except IRC - 20424, which has no known optical identification.
