Abstract

Based on the guiding ideology of crystallization chemistry and synthetic chemistry, we put forward the concept of multi-structure CPs for the first time, and creatively designed two kinds of primary explosive Cu(PZCA)2(ClO4)2 (ECPs-1) and Cu(HAPZCA)2(ClO4)4 (EIsCPs-1). Among them, ECPs-1 is a simple coordination polymer with 0D structure. However, EIsCPs-1 is a new energetic compound with dual structure of ionic salts and complexes, which is reported for the first time in the field of ECPs. The structures of them were comprehensively characterized by using infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffractometry. Especially EIsCPs-1, in addition to containing coordination bonds, the extra oxidant interacts with the ligand through hydrogen bond to form the new salt style structure. Relying on the unique combination, EIsCPs-1 has the higher nitrogen and oxygen content (69.8 %), OB value (4.9 %), and detonation performance (DEXPLO 5 = 8152 m s−1, PEXPLO 5 = 28.5 GPa). In addition, EIsCPs-1 also has excellent mechanical sensitivity (IS = 5 J, FS = 12 N). These high-performance data show that the preparation of ionic salt-based ECPs can break the bottleneck of traditional ECPs-based primary explosive.
