Abstract
A new FM tachotelemeter is presented as a suitable application of a small ferrite orthogonal core. The device is constructed from a combination of small ferrite orthogonal cores and permanent magnets. It can measure the rotation speed and the bend of the shaft simultaneously without making contact, and also the rotation speed, from rest to high-speed, continuously. The purpose of the paper is to present a configuration of the newly developed device and its operating characteristics.
