Abstract

Objective: Uterine leiomyosarcoma (LMS) has been traditionally staged by modified 1988 FIGO criteria for endometrial adenocarcinoma. Staging may also be performed utilizing the AJCC soft tissue sarcoma staging system. In 2009, FIGO staging for uterine LMS was established. The aim of this study was to compare the 3 systems in order to determine their accuracy in predicting disease specific survival.
