Abstract
Hang-chia-hu Area** in Chekiang Province is renowned as one of the highest grain yielding regions in our country. It is also a major base for producing silkworm cocoons. Having experienced the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution and the deepening movement to criticize Lin Piao and Confucius, this affluent plain area has become even more thriving and picturesque. Over the vast expanse of land, mulberry trees have grown into forests and various kinds of manure are piled up like little hills. On the surface of the crisscrossing waterways row after row of water peanuts grow close upon each other. And green ponds are swarming with jumping fish. Everywhere is a picture of vitality.
