Abstract
ABSTRACTIn this paper, we propose two new extensions of the rational trigonometric methods for solving distinct forms of Boussinesq-like equations. The proposed methods give solutions which are expressed by hyperbolic, trigonometric, and rational expressions of these functions. Our results demonstrate the power of the proposed methods for the determination of exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations, such as Boussinesq-like equations which we will study in this work.
