Abstract
Great improvements have been made in diagnosis and treatment of ischemic stroke in recent years. Chinese guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke 2018 are published by Chinese Society of Neurology and Chinese Stroke Society in this issue of Chinese Journal of Neurology. The purpose of the guideline is to provide up-to-date recommendations in management of acute ischemic stroke, especially in intravenous thrombolysis, endovascular treatment and multi-model image evaluation.
