New EC Horizontal Guidelines: Providing Helpful Guidance in the Highly Diverse and Complex Field of Competitor Cooperation and Information Exchanges

Abstract

After an intense period of public consultation, the European Commission published in January 2011 a new set of Horizontal Guidelines which, for the first time, include general principles on the competitive assessment of information exchange between competitors.
