Abstract

For narrow-band digital notch filters, poles are near the unit circle. Also, when the sampling rate is increased, the poles approach the point Z = + 1 . The usual realizations of digital notch filters are highly sensitive to coefficient quantization. Three new digital notch filter structures are proposed, and their coefficient sensitivities are derived.
