Abstract
The new diagrammatic method proposed previously is very efficient for constructing the exact truncated Wightman functions in the covariant formalism of two-dimensional quantum gravity. In the present paper, some refinements are made for diagrammatic rules. Then, based on the reformulated rules, the validity of the new diagrammatic method is proved for all truncated Wightman functions. The important ingredient of the proof is the BRS invariance of the theory.
