Abstract
In this paper, a linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based design of robust [Formula: see text] controllers for linear descriptor discrete-time delay equations is proposed. The existing works of FTS and [Formula: see text] control are extended to the linear descriptor equations subjected to time-varying delays and bounded disturbances. First, sufficient LMI-based conditions are given to ensure the admissibility of such system, and then the conditions are applied to design [Formula: see text] controllers. A numerical example with simulations is given to illustrate the proposed results.
