Abstract
Bothriolepis sibirica Obruchev and B. dorakarasugensis sp. nov. (Pisces, Antiarchi) from the Frasnian beds (Upper Devonian) of central Tuva are described. These species differ from the majority of congeners in the pattern of contact between the anterior mediodorsal and anterior dorsolateral, i.e., in the anterior part of contact, the anterior medio-dorsal overlies the anterior dorsolateral, while, in the posterior part, they change places. New data supplement the description of B. sibirica Obr. and show certain age changes in trunk shield bones of this species.
