Abstract

A new circuit configuration for the current-mode first-order and biquadratic filters using a single second-generation current conveyor (CCII) are suggested. The roposed current-mode single-CCII filters can be easily cascaded without matching circuits. This circuit configuration can be used to synthesize lowpass, bandpass, and highpass functions. The active and assive sensitivities of the roposed filters have been calculated. The quality factor Q and the central frequency ω0 of the roposed filters are insensitive to the current tracking error of the CCII. Five filters are experimentally implemented to verify the theoretical rediction
