Abstract
Maintaining barrier properties in PET bottles is essential for applications such as packaging of beer. Holland Colours has undertaken some research that has demonstrated that certain additives and colorants can affect the oxygen scavenging effectiveness of PET bottles. As a result, the company has now introduced a new series of oxygen neutral colorant formulations. Jules Roelofs of Holland Colours NV explains.
