Abstract
A new satellite system that would provide valuable information to the users and managers of the nation's natural resources could be fully operational by the end of the decade, according to Richard A. Frank, administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).The system would be an outgrowth of the experimental Landsat‐D system that is scheduled for completion in 1982, Frank testified to subcommittees of the House Science and Technology Committee.
