Abstract

This paper offers a brief overview of the state of Sikh Studies at the American Academy of Religion. First, it documents the new beginnings of Sikh Studies at the AAR by sketching the formation and development of the Sikh Studies Consultation over the past two years. Second, it highlights the new voices and scholarship that have been involved in this new program unit.
