Abstract

We focus here on two aspects of Nuclear Structure that are of major interest currently, i) Relativistic dynamics of bound nucleons. ii) Halo nuclear structures. We discuss how these aspects can be probed with electron beams. In the context of point i) we discuss issues as the sensitivity to the effective mass in the nuclear interior, and to the dynamical enhancement of negative energy components. In the context of point ii), after a brief view on elastic electron scattering from a halo nucleus, we discuss inclusive and exclusive observables with particular attention to 6 He(e,e’)nα and 6 He(e,e’α)nn reactions.
