Abstract

The objective of this study was to register the distribution of spinner dolphins in the northeastern extremity of Fernando de Noronha archipelago – a new occupation area. Data indicates that the Entre-Ilhas area is the one where spinner dolphins show greater time permanence, defining a new occupation pattern, with an annual tendency to remain for longer periods in the region. The study points out the Entre-Ilhas area as crucial for the conservancy of spinner dolphins’ habits in Fernando de Noronha Archipelago.
