Abstract

It is shown that optimization problems for multifunction antenna systems can be solved via reduction of new nonclassical functionals to a ratio of Hermitian forms with subsequent application of the theorem on the extremal properties of the characteristic numbers of a sheaf of Hermitian forms. Numerical investigations are performed with an array of rectangular waveguides with vector radiation patterns. The results obtained confirm the high efficiency of the proposed solutions.
