Abstract
Three new acylphloroglucinols, baeckenones A–C (1–3), were isolated from the chloroform extract of the leaves of Baeckea frutescens together with three known compounds 4–6. The structures of the isolated compounds were determined using extensive spectroscopic analyses including IR, NMR, and HRMS. Baeckenone B (2) exhibited a moderate antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis with an MIC value of 40μM.
