Abstract
とうもろこしの胚芽を粉砕しそのアルカリ性抽出物をクロロフォルムで脱脂して透析を行なつた.この透析外液の中にハト〓嚢腺を刺激して〓乳の分泌を起す物質が含まれていることを認めた.透析外液の中に含まれていることから考えると分子量の小さな物質であろう.またlocal injection (皮内注射) では効果がなく, systemic injection (筋肉内注射) で陽性の結果を得た.すなわちこの物質はProlactinと同じ性質のものではなく, ハトの下垂体を刺激してProlactinの放出を促す物質であると考えられる.
