Abstract
The paper reports the first chemical study of an European Doriopsilla mollusc. Three new furanosesquiterpenoids, ent- pallescensin-A ( 2) together with two acetoxy derivatives ( 5,6), have been characterized. The metabolites are distributed either in the skin of the mollusc or in its hermaphrodite gland where the most abundant component is a mixture of drimane esters ( 1).
