Abstract

Nevus sebaceous (aka. Nevus Sebaceous of Jadassohn or Organoid nevus ) is a hamartomatous disorder of the skin and is an epidermal appendageal nevus disorder with predominant sebaceous gland involvement .The Diagnosis of which is mainly based on the clinical presentation ,histopathology and dermoscopy can be useful when the diagnosis is in doubt .Careful clinical follow up followed by a therapeutic excision might sufce but a prophylactic full thickness complete excision is recommended as there are rare chances of malignant transformation with chances of recurrence , metastasis and fatal outcome .In this article we report a case of nevus sebaceous along with a review of literature
