Abstract
The statistics are grim. Death by suicide ranked number 12 on the leading cause of death within the United States in 2020. And in Nevada, there has been an increase in suicide for youth — dropping from age 12 to just 8 years old. The stats are no doubt the impetus behind “Hope Means Nevada,” a community‐based initiative offering year‐round 24/7 support for individuals and their families across the state.
