Abstract
The differential cross section of the neutron-proton radiative capture process, n + p → d + γ, has been measured in the energy interval from 190 MeV to 590 MeV for deutron angles θ d cm < 65°. The results are compared to experiments and theoretical predictions of the inverse reaction, i.e. the photodisintegration of the deuteron.
