Abstract
A detailed 2-D cylindrical diffusion theory neutronics model is presented for the Harwell reactors DIDO and PLUTO, based on the wim-e program. The model for these highly asymmetric reactors allows for the presence of the various control systems, experimental rigs and fuel burnup. Comparisons made with measurements of burnup and of radial and axial flux distributions validate the approach.
