Abstract
This book presents papers on neutron capture. Topics considered include the electromagnetic interaction, slow neutrons, fast neutrons, statistical theory, methods for calculating neutron capture cross sections and gamma-ray energy spectra, giant dipole resonance systematics, data analysis, capture in shielding materials, neutron capture processes in fission reactors, and applications to stellar nucleosynthesis.
