Abstract
Neutron depolarization ( P), diffraction and magnetization measurements were carried out for a cluster glass compound La 0.5Sr 0.5CoO 3. Below T∼240 K significant depolarization is observed indicating the ferromagnetic transition. The temperature dependence of P appears to be correlated with the coercive field, H C. Difference between P in zero-field-cooled and field-cooled state is found below ∼225 K. The various features are compared with normal ferromagnet and reentrant spin-glass.
