Abstract
CoCr films with perpendicular anisotropy are magnetised in-plane and the depolarisation of a thermal neutron beam is measured up to 600 kA/m for various transmission directions. A constant domain height of ⋍ 280 nm (i.e. 70% of the film thickness) and a constant width of ⋍ 100 nm is deduced from the data. A small hysteresis is found.
