Abstract
This chapter introduces neutrino oscillations in vacuum with a detailed derivation followed by a discussion of CPT, CP, and T transformations, types of neutrino oscillation experiments, averaged transition probability, the cases of large Delta m2 dominance and active small Delta m2.
