Abstract

We discuss results on neutrino mixing in a three family scenario. We use the Open image in new window MSSM for the theoretical description of the neutrino masses. We show that one has to include the tree-level and the \(q\tilde q\) one-loop as well as the Open image in new window one-loop contribution to the neutrino mass matrix to get three massive neutrinos. By introducing an additional U(1) flavor symmetry which has been successful in explaining the mass hierarchy of quarks and leptons, we are able to correlate many parameters of our model. Confronting the experimental and theoretical results for the neutrino mass matrices, we find a unique scenario for the neutrino masses and the couplings relevant for the neutrino mixing.
