R. Abstract High resolution neutral hydrogen observations in the NGC 7465 small group of galaxies reveal tidally distorted H I morphology and kinematics in four out of the five members studied. An H I "bridge" was detected connecting, in projection, UGC 12313 and NGC 7463 or the subgroup as a whole. The sides of both galaxies connected with the bridge show signs of recent interaction. The bridge has a small velocity gradient and its radial velocities merge with those of the southeast part of UGC 12313, suggesting a physical link between the two. The H I emission from NGC 7463 is well separated in velocity space from that of NGC 7464/7465 and shows peculiar morphology and kinematics as a result of "high- velocity" gas occurring above the eastern side of the disk. An r ~ 80" ring around NGC 7465 dominates the H I emission from NGC 7464/7465. There is evidence to suggest that it represents a polar ring around NGC 7465 and could be material pulled out from NGC 7464 during a close encounter with NGC 7465. UGC 12321 is the only galaxy which shows overall unperturbed morphology and its H I kinematics are consistent with a disk galaxy seen nearly edge-on. Nevertheless, we identified two asymmetries in its H I distribution.
