Abstract

Considering the joint effects of diffusion, collision, oxidation and photoionization, we study the evolution of the barium cloudat different altitudes in the space plasma active experiment. Theresults present the variation of the loss rate, number densitydistribution and brightness of the barium cloud over the range from120 to 260 km. This can be divided into oxidation, oxidation plusphotoionization and photoionization regions.
