Abstract

1. 1. Alk-1-enyl diglycerides and alkyl diglycerides occur as minor constituents in the roe lipids of mullet ( Mugil cephalus). 2. 2. The alk-1-enyl and alkyl moieties of the neutral alkoxylipids and the constituent alcohols and fatty acids of wax esters from mullet roe were analyzed. 3. 3. Polyunsaturated chains occur in the alk-1-enyl, alkyl and acyl moities. Odd-numbered chains also are present in these moieties.
