Abstract

There was described neurovisual semiotics of non-hernial factors of compression in lumbar and sacral roots at dystrophic lesions of the spine. Multitude of factors were shown at dystrophic spinal pathology. Among the compression factors of the roots there is a high percentage of non-herniated factors. It is very important to optimize the diagnosis of patients with degenerative diseases of spine by using modern neuroimaging. Every non-herniated factor of resistant compression of lumbar and sacral roots has its own neuroimaging signs. It will determine the indications for surgical treatment and volume of surgical intervention more accurately.
