Abstract

The European Association of Neuroscience Nurses (EANN) is an organisation that aims to promote high standards of neuroscience nursing care and professional education through supporting the exchange of information between nurses across Europe. EANN was established in 1979; Figure 1 highlights its missions. The association actively supports evidence-informed education that is integrated with professional competence and supported by life-long learning to enhance and improve European neuroscience nurses’ knowledge and competence. The organisation has two active forums that are concerned with supporting the development of neuroscience nursing practice: ■Research forum ■Education forum.
