Abstract
Polycation-stimulated mutants of fowl plague virus (FPV) have been studied. The mutants contain an altered neuraminidase as shown by a changed sensitivity of the enzyme to inhibition by δ-lactone-3-aza-2,3,4-trideoxy-4-oxy-d-arabinoactonic acid, by specific antisera, and by chromatographic analysis of disintegrated virus on DEAE-cellulose.
