Abstract

A neural network unfolding technique has been used to unfold the gamma ray and neutron response of an NE-213 detector, and the results are compared with those obtained using the established matrix unfolding code FERDOR. It is shown that the neural network solution has the potential advantages of speed, flexibility and computational simplicity. The simple code which has been used to generate gamma ray response functions is also described.
