Abstract

Uncontrollable, negative Perseverative Thought (PT) is a hallmark of anxiety disorders and a transdiagnostic feature of numerous other forms of psychopathology. PT may be a potential target of clinical and neural interventions, but neural mechanisms of in vivo worry remain incompletely understood due to methodological challenges of inducing naturalistic worry.
