Abstract

An extended model for networked control systems is developed by integrating a networked control systems and a communication network model. This results in a deterministic switching system.Stability analysis of the integrated system is then investigated using switched system theory. Specifically sufficient conditions for global exponential stability of the systems are given in terms of plant and network dynamics. A simulation example is presented to study the properties of the extended networked control systems.
