Abstract

This paper examines historical evidences of networking among Liverpool merchants and Africa entrepreneurs in the Bight of Biafra (present South-eastern Nigeria) during the Triangular Trade. It reviews and highlights evidences of network social capital that existed in Triangular Trade from literature. This paper reveals networking activities of 18th century Liverpool traders and Bight of Biafra entrepreneurs and consequences of network relationships on their entrepreneurial activities.
